Whole cardamom pods, distinct from Indian cardamom with its musty flavour. This is also known as Cardamon, Cardamon Pods, Brown Cardamon, Chinese Cardamon, Cangus.

Methodologically, Brown Cardamom pods are used similarly to Black Cardamom.  You can extract the whole cardamom seeds from their shell (the pod), and utilise the crushed or ground cardamom seeds in savoury dishes, or just deposit the entire pod into your cooking.  (Whole cardamom seeds carry the flavour, and need to be kept in their pods to maintain freshness - more on cardamom aetiology here!).
